Stainless Steel Wire Mesh & Wire Cloth

Wire Materials: SUS302, 304, 316, 304L, 316L.

Typical Weaving Patterns: Plain Weave, Twill Weave, Dutch Plain Weave and Dutch Twilled Weave.

Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Plain Weave is the most commonly used weave. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below each weft wire. Warp and weft wires generally have the same diameter. Plain woven wire cloth in brass and other metals is also available.

Plain Weave:

Stainless Steel Wire Mesh and Wire Cloth Twill Weave can be used to allow a heavier than standard wire diameters. Each weft wire passes alternately over two, and then under two successive warp wires and each warp wire passes alternately over two and under two successive weft wires. Twill woven wire cloth in brass and other metals is also available.

Dutch Twill Woven Stainless Steel Wire Cloth:

Dutch Twill Woven Wire Cloth offers higher strength than regular Dutch woven wire cloth. It packs even more wires in a given area than Dutch plain woven wire cloth. Generally, Dutch Twill Woven Wire Cloth offers finer mesh counts and lower flow than other Dutch Woven Wire Cloth and can be made to filter particles as fine as 2 microns in diameter. Available in stainless steel, alloy, brass and other metals.

Wire Materials: Type 304, Type 304 L, Type 316 and Type 316 L.

Type 304 often refers to as "18-8" (18% chromium, 8% nickel ). T-304 is the basic stainless alloy mostly commonly utilized for wire cloth weaving. It withstands outdoor exposure without rusting and resists oxidation at an elevated temperature up to 1400 Degrees Fahrenheit. Type 304 L is very similar to T-304, the difference being the reduced carbon content for better weaving and secondary welding characteristics.

Type 316: Stabilized by the addition of 2% molybdenum, T-316 is an "18-8" alloy. Type 316 has better resistance to pitting corrosion than the other chromium-nickel stainless steels where brines, sulfur-bearing water or halogen salts, such as chlorides are present. Type 316 L: Type 316 L is very similar to T-316, the difference being the reduced carbon content for better wire cloth weaving and secondary welding characteristics.

Detailed Product Description

We can supply pure tungsten rods, tungsten-aluminum rods, tungsten-thorium rods, tungsten-cerium rods, tungsten-lanthanum rods, tungsten-zirconium rods and rods in various other specifications.

Applications:

1) Pure tungsten rods: Suitable for welding under alternating current;

2) Thoriated tungsten: Thoriated tungsten is the most commonly used tungsten material, Thoria is a low-level radioactive material, but it was the first to display a significant improvement over pure tungsten. Thoriated tungsten is a good general use tungsten for DC applications, because it operates well even when overload with extra amperage, thus improves the performance of welding. We supply WT10, WT20, WT30, WT40;

3) Cerium-Tungsten Electrode: Cerium-Tungsten Electrodes have good starting arc performance under the condition of low crrrent. The arc current is low, therefore the electrodes can be used for welding of pipe, stainless and fine parts. Cerium-Tungsten is the first choice for replacing Thoriated Tungsten under the condition of low DC.

4) Lanthanated Tungsten Electrode The lanthanated tungsten became very popular in the circle of welding in the world soon after it was eveloped because of its good welding performance. The electric conductivity of lanthanated tungsten is most closed to that of 2% thoriated Tungsten. Welders can easily replace thoriated tungsten Electrode with lanthanated tungsten electrode at either AC or DC and not have to make any welding program changes. The radioactivity from thoriated tungsten can thus be avoided. Another advantage of lanthanated tungsten is being able to bear high current and having the lowest burn-loss rate.

5)Zirconiated Tungsten Electrode

Zirconiated tungsten has good performance in AC welding, especially under high load current. Any other electrodes in terms of its excellent performance can not replace Zirconiated tungsten electrodes. The electrode retains a balled end when welding, which results in less tungsten permeation and good corrosion resistance.

Our technical staffs have been engaged in research and testing work and succeeded in solving the conflicts between zirconium contents and processing properties.
