MCK1000 is a single lens reflex camera with TTL(through the lens) exposure metering system and standard lens. It introduced Japanese production line of PENTAX K1000 camera. It has a full automatic diaphragm and adopts a pentaprism horizontal viewfinder. In the center of the focusing screen is a split-image rangefinder(focusing wedges) and a microprism spot with focusing collar. The reflex mirror is an instant-return type with specific shock absorber. The shutter is a rubberized silk focal plane one with X synchroflash hotshoe and a flashlight cord socket. There is also a frame counter, an auto-resetter and a selftimer. In the exposure metering system, SPD(silicon photocell diode)parts are adopted for TTL. Centerweighted averaging exposure measurement. In the viewfinder there are three LEDs(Light emitting diode)metering and indicating the exposure. The TTL exposure metering system functions along with the diaphragm, shutter and film speed setting. The lens of MCK1000 is of PK bayonet mount. It can easily be changed by many Japanese lens like RICON, PENTAX, CANON etc. This kind of camera is suitable for teachers to teach and beginners to learn.
