Product Name: SS-218 Methyl Tin Mercaptide

General Information

Product Packaging: 225 kgs /net iron or plastic drum

Storage and Handling: This SS-218 is a liquid tin Mercaptide heat stabilizer and should be handled with normal precautions used in good industrial practices for organic liquids.

Product Application: SS-218 Methyl Tin Mercaptide is an excellent heat stabilizer for rigid and semi-rigid PVC, for extrusion, injection molding and blow-molding applications. It is ideal for transparent application and can be used for food and drug packaging, and water supply pipe.

1. Physical and chemical properties:

The product is light yellow liquid which is freezing point should not exceed 6 and sometimes will appear crystalline while the temperature is below 40. It is readily soluble in oil ,not in water and caustic solution . It can be stored for a long period without color changed.

2. Applications:

Anti-oxidant 502A is 2,6-di-t-butyl-phenol which has the advantage of excellent anti-oxidation property. It's anti-oxidation effect is equal to T501(Anti-oxidant). It can used in fuel oil, lubricating oil as anti-oxidation additive. It can used alone or compounded with others. The amount of the product to be added is from 0.1% to 1.0%.

PAC is an inorganic high polymer which has solid net structure. It is water-soluble, polyvalent, electrolyte coagulant. PAC can produce loose expanded floss which can make powerful absorption and form multivalence polymer ion with positive charge in water. In reducing the negative charge of source water colloid, PAC is better than other traditional semipolymer clarifier, such as alums, iron chloride, aluminium sulfate, basic aluminium chloride, etc. It achieves obvious results in water-cleaning.
