Calcium Aluminates Cement was also called High Alumina Cement and Refractory Cement for a time. It is a kind of hydraulic binding material produced by acclimating raw meal consisting of selected bauxite and limestone in a rotary kiln at high temperature and grinding the clinker into powder. The main mineral is mono-calcium aluminates (CA) which contains alumina (Al2O3) is 50~60%.

(1).High early strength, quick setting and rapid hardening. One day's strength can be up to 70% of final strength at least.

(2).High heat hydration, emitting of heat hydration is concentrated.

(3).Good property of anti-frost. It can harden normally even if temperature at 0ºC.

(4).Good property of anti-sulfate attacking.

(5).Good property of refractoriness (about 1370ºC). The concrete prepared with senior refractory aggregate, its refractoriness may be up to 1500ºC above.

(6).It mainly used in some special projects such as the emergency repairing, emergency constructing, anti-sulfate attacking and wintertime construction, etc.

Notes:*

(1).If customer requires special particle size, we can manufacture the material as requested.

(2).If customer has special requirement for 6h strength, the reference Bending Strength is 3.0Mpa, Compressive Strength is 20Mpa.

(3).If customer has special requirement for chemical components and physical property, we also can produce as requested.

(4).According to the regulation of GB201-2000, we should offer the testing report of S, Cl when the customer requires or the buyer and seller have the related agreement.

3. Attention:

According to the Appendix of GB201-2000, when it is used in construction, please note the following:

(1).In the process of construction, generally, it is shouldn't be mixed with jell-like materials such as silicate cement, lime, etc. which may separate out calcium hydroxide in order to prevent out of control for the setting time. Before it is used, the blending equipment and other relevant equipments must be thoroughly cleaned by water.

(2).It shouldn't be used in those projects which have mixed with alkaline solution.

(3)When selecting the water-reducing agent, it should be tested firstly.

(4).It should not be steam curing.

(5).When selecting the aggregate and powder material, its particle size and chemical component must be up to the mustard. Besides, the harmful impurities such as iron, sulfur, alkaline, chlorine and lime, etc., should meet requirement.

(6).Keeping in dry conditions and preventing humidity during storage and transportation. Don't mix with other variety of cements.

1. Calcium sulphoaluminate cement (Low alkalinity)

Compared with other types of cements, it has obviously quick-hardening, early strength, also has low alkalinity, small expansion rate, fast stability, non-deformation on shrinkage, high retention rate of combined strength with glass fiber and long life. It is exclusive cement of GRC products.

Application:

Used for various light weight combined mould board, ventilation, European relief, various kinds of components, heavy rack, the shelf board of network and other small-scale building ornaments etc.

2. Calcium sulphoaluminate cement (quick-hardening)

Compared with other types of cements, it has obviously quick-hardening and early strength. Especially compressive strength reaches 50-80Mpa. With the growing of curing period, the strength increase. And its frost-resistance & anti-corrosion are much better than other types of cement.

Application:

Used for confecting early strength, impermeability and sulphate-resistance concrete etc.

Used for cement products, concrete prefabricated components, GRC products and general construction work products or components.

Suitable for winter cement construction, pulp anchor, assembled geologists, solid, rush repair, gunning concrete and stop leaking etc.

3. Calcium sulphoaluminate cement (Ultra-high strength)

Base on low alkalinity & quick hardening Sulphoaluminate cements, it has quick hardening, high strength and late strength increasing continuously. It mainly meets needs of special requirements on construction and other related parent material mixing etc.

Aluminate cement is produced by preparing raw meal consisting of applicable bauxite and limestone, calcining the raw meal in rotary kiln and grinding the clinker, which contains Al2O3 50-59%. The aluminate cement can resist a high temperature at which a relative high strength still remains. Its refractoriness increases with the content of CA2. Therefore it is suitable to make refractory concrete as a binder. Depending on the refractory aggregates (firecaly, high alumina) used, the refractory concrete made of the cement can be used below 1400centigrade.

III WEATHERPLANK SIDING PRODUCTS

(A) ABOUT WEATHERPLANK SIDING PRODUCTS

WeatherPlank Siding products are made of autoclaved fibre cement reinforced calcium silicate boards that are 100% free from asbestos or sepiolite. Since WeatherPlank is laminated of specially formulated calcium silicate mixtures and selected fibres to form the designated thickness, unlike other siding boards made of vinyl or timber materials, maintenance cost of WeatherPlank is low. It is robust, impact resistant, moisture resistant and non-combustible. It is designed for use in direct weathering applications when used in conjunction with external grade textured finishes and other surface coatings or internal decorated applications. It can hold paint finishes 3-4 times longer than other siding board materials do. It has high water vapour permeability which helps eliminate condensation or water trapped behind the boards. Available products include WeatherPlank Siding, WeatherTrim and WeatherPlank Panel. WeatherPlank Siding Products are ISO9001: 2000 (Certificate of Conformity of Quality Management System Certification) and ISO14001: 1996 (Environmental Management System Certificate) certified and have obtained Green Product Label Award issued by National Environment Protection Bureau.

WeatherPlank is made of WeatherPro-L fibre cement reinforced calcium silicate board, which is produced from a mixture of cement, silica, special cellulose fibres and selected fillers to impart durability, toughness and moisture resistance. It is then cured by an autoclaving process whereby the ingredients are reacted together under the effects of super-heated steam and high pressure. The synthetic cement silicate binder provides exceptional dimensional stability and an unrivalled resistance to movement due to effects of moisture or heat. WeatherPlank will not rot or support fungal growth and is unaffected by sunlight and steam. It does not contain any soluble ingredients or free alkali which could be dissolved by moisture or condensation causing unsightly marks. If exposed to moisture, WeatherPlank will completely recover on drying out naturally, with no permanent loss of strength. It will not degrade with time and within normal applications, the life of the product is limited only by the durability of the supporting structure and materials used in fastening.

WeatherPlank is easy to cut on site with standard wood working tools. Where seamless finishes are required, it can be finished with thin coat polymeric renders or other surface coatings to give a seamless finish. Standard WeatherPlank is off-white in colour and has a high quality embossed wood-like, wood grain smooth or traditional smooth surface textures.

WeatherPlank Panel is produced in full-sized standard board for wall paneling decoration. It can easily be cut on site to match various architectural features. WeatherPlank Siding is pre-cut in size for applications on planking, facades and shop fronts. WeatherTrim is pre-cut in size. It provides unmatched durability at corners, windows, columns and friezes.

WeatherPlank can be used in a wide variety of building applications because of its easy working, fixing and decorating characteristics. It can also be used at curved section. Typical applications include:
