Furring Ceiling System

The system is a suspended steel framing cladded with gypsum board sheets, the furring system is mostly used for areas that need to be smooth ceiling without joints and where services are to be concealed.

Main components and material specifications:

(1) U channel

11 x 38 x 11 x 3000mm, thickness 0.5mm or 0.6mm, made of galvanized steel.

(2) Gypsum board

(3) Preformed wire clip

Galvanized tempered wire to tight the U-channel to the furring channel.

(4) Furring channel

Length 4000mm, thickness 0.45mm or 0.5mm, made of galvanized steel.

(5) Channel bracket

To hold the U-channel, made of galvanized steel.

(6) Adjustable clip

To adjust the ceiling level, made of tempered steel.

(7) Hanging wire

4mm galvanized wire.

(8) L angle

25 x 25 x 3000mm, thickness 0.5mm, made of galvanized steel.
