Flexibond MS-939 (Elastic Bonding Adhesive Sealant)

Flexibond MS-939 is a one-component elastic bonding adhesive based on silane-modified polymer. It combines the advantages of both polyurethane and silicone, and thus is a new generation elastic adhesive. It is free of silicone, isocyanate and solvent. It cures quickly to form durable elastomer when in contact with moisture at ambient temperature.

Application:

Flexibond MS-939 is used for the bonding of parts in following industries: Bus body, railway carriage, container, equipment engineering, air-conditioning and ventilation, metal and sheet metal working, plastics technology, ship building, etc.

Adhesion:

Flexibond MS-939 has good adhesion on metal (fresh, parkerized, galvanized, painted), stainless steel, copper, aluminium (fresh, anodized, painted), glass, PC, PUR, ABS, polyester, most thermal plastics, EPDM, PS, PA, PVC, etc...But prior test is absolutely necessary. For some substrates, the use of activator and/or primer will help to achieve optimal adhesion.

Cleaning:

Clean surface to ensure the surface being clean, dry, free of oil, grease, and of sound quality.

Activating/Priming:

Activators and/or primers may be required to achieve optimal adhesion depending on the nature of substrates.

Application of sealant:

Cut tip to desired shape and size. Puncture airtight seal. Install with hand or power operated gun and extrude the sealant into the joint. Clean excess sealant using hard rubber plate or finger wet with soap solution.

Packaging:

310ml cartridge, 20 pcs/box; 600ml sausage, 20 pcs/box.

Storage and Shelf Life:

Store in a cool and dry place (10~25 C recommended). Avoid damage to the package. When stored at the recommended conditions in original, unopened containers, this product has a shelf life of 9 months.
