UMU is a laminated glass that contains liquid crystal sheet between 2 pieces of glass. The switchable light control glass UMU is a laminated glass in which specially manufactured liquid crystal sheet is inserted between 2 sheets of glass.

The UMU's liquid crystal has a property, which is randomly aligned LC molecules align with voltage. As seen on the diagrams, the light can not pass through at randomly aligned phase while it can easily pass through when LC molecules align. This the secret from clear to translucent phenomenon.

Bullet-proof glass is one kind of laminated glass which is combined with many pieces of glass sheet and PVB film with a total thickness of 20mm to 50mm for effectively preventing bullet from penetrating the glass even the glass has been smashed.

Tht laminated glass is made by clamping the tenacious polyvinyl butyral(PVB) between the interface layer after the high temperature and high pressure processing.

The laminated glass made by transparent PVB is the same as the normal glass on the appearance and installation method and it wear well. Then normal laminated glass cannot enhance the mechanical strength, but it is granted to be safe glass due to the sprciality it has and it is widely used in building door&window, curtain wall, light absorption shade, skylight, suspended ceiling, aerial ground, large area glass wall, shop front windows, counter, aquarium, etc and almost all occasion which use glass.

The tempered glass defines that the glass product has the good mechanical characteristic through thermal treatment, and fragment of glass after breaking can reach the safety requirement.
