V100 is based on the novel active agent N-butyl-1, 2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BBIT). It has a broad spectrum of activity used to prevent fungal, bacterial and algal spoilage of polymers and to impart surface activity on plastics or dry paint films to give a hygienic or antibacterial effect.

V100 can provide protection for the surfaces of products from staining, the generation of objectionable odors, and premature failure of the product. Some of the items recommended for treatment are: Coated fabrics, floor coverings, pool liners, outdoor furniture, foam seat cushions, and caulks and sealants.

As a liquid, V100 is applied during the manufacturing process at a rate of 0.03-1.0% of the weight of the final product. The application rate will depend on the susceptibility of the product to micro-degradation, species involved, environmental conditions the product is going to be used in, and length of time protection is needed.

V100 can also be used to formulate antimicrobial products. Products intended to be used for handling food/feed or drinking water or toys should not be treated with V100.

Introduction:

Atrazine is a selective systemic triazine herbicide which can be used both pre and post-emergence for the control of grass and broadleaf weeds in crops. It is mainly absorbed through the plant roots, but can enter through the foliage, and accumulates in the apical meristems and leaves.

High application rates give non-selective control in non-crop areas.

Dicamba is a benzoic acid herbicide. It can be applied to the leaves or to the soil. Dicamba controls annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in grain crops and grasslands, and it is used to control brush and bracken in pastures. It will kill broadleaf weeds before and after they sprout. Legumes will be killed by dicamba. In combination with a phenoxyalkanoic acid or other herbicide, dicamba is used in pastures, range land, and non-crop areas such as fence-rows and roadways to control weeds.

Clomazone is a broad spectrum herbicide used for control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in cotton, peas, pumpkins, soybeans, sweet potatoes, tobacco, winter squash and fallow wheat fields.

It can be applied early preplant, preemergent or preplant-incorporated depending on the crop, geographical area and timing. Because clomazone is an inhibitor of plant pigments, users must exercise caution to avoid drift or vapors which may cause bleaching damage to non-target foliage.

Clomazone is available in emulsifiable concentrate formulations.
