Nitrocellulose is white floc and chip fiber, wish specific heat about 0.4 and relative density 1.65-1.67g/cm2, highly flammable, soluble in organic solvent such as ketone, ester, alcohol ether etc, sensitive to machinery impact when alcohol is lower. Scope of Application

This product could be used to bond rubber, plastic, leather, canvas, wood, metal, especially for the hard material bonding with soft material, like the bonding of rubber and metal. The application field is as wide as the construction decoration; Advertise sign, furniture decoration and machine manufacture etc.

Using Method

1. Clean the adhesive surface so as to avoid the effecting of the intensity. For smooth surface, it is better to passivity it with sand cloth (for rubber material, use file) firstly, then wash it with gasoline or acetone and dry.

2. Paint the glue onto the surface evenly, for rubber material; It is needed to paint the glue about 1-2 times. For canvas material, paint it 2-3 times. Every time of the painting, test the surface with hand. If there is no adhesive to the hand but having viscosity, it is okay for the second painting. Finally, bond the surface with pressure after leaving them for some time. The average leaving time is 5-30 minutes. For the details, it should depend on the exact situation of surround. The glue quantity for painting every time is 200-250g/m² .

3. The application adhesive could be achieved after drying for 48 hours at the room temperature of 25Centigrade. The best adhesive performance is available after leaving aside for 6 days.

Warning

1. The operating environment should be ventilate and should keep away of the fire.

2. Before application, the solidifying time could be reduced by adding natrium with 5-15 percent, which could improve the adhesive intensity also.

3. Painting tools could be brush, scraper etc. And could wash them with Ethyl acetate and dry for next application.

4. Tighten the lid to avoid the volatile of the glue after usage. Dilute the glue with Ethyl acetate if it is too thick.

5. Take strict precautions against touching by the kids and swallowing.

Storage and Packing

1. Stock the products in the air-tight seal at the temperature of 10-35Centigrade the shelf life is one year. It is available to use based on passing of the test if being beyond the shelf life.

2. Preserve and transport as flammable products.

Application description and features:

YH3166/YH3166B is two-component polyurethane adhesive for high-temperature applications, including retort. It can resist 135 degree centigrade high temperature retort for 30 minutes. YH3166 is a -OH composite polyester and YH10 is a modified polyisocyanate. This adhesive is especially fit for aluminum foil/film retort laminate used as cup sealer. After application, the adhesive show good laminate strength and excellent initial adhesion with very low ethyl acetate residue.

Physical and chemical properties:

1.YH3166/YH3166B can be applied widely for many kinds of films with excellent initial adhesion.

2.Single layer laminate can be cured under 55 degree centigrade+-2 degree centigrade within 48 hours. For rolled laminate, according to factors including length of the roll, quality of the film and cultivate room temperature, etc, 72 hours or longer time is recommended for cultivate. Higher cultivate temperature will do help to increase the laminate strength.

Range of Application:

This surface coater is applicable to the membrane sticking process for dry and wet PU synthetic leather and middle-level leather.

Features:

DU-1015 is extra-soft polyurethane for leather surface coaters. It features as fine color spreading property, softness and good touch feel. It is applicable to all kinds of soft leather production.

Process notice:

1. The solvent system of resin contains monohybrid alcohols. If these monohybrid alcohols on the surface coat are not volatilized thoroughly, it will consume part of the NCO basic groups in the curing agent and therefore affects the solidification result of base coater. The surface coater should be heated dry when in use. When this resin becomes membrane, its surface is very dense, so the solvent system of base coater should be capable of slightly dissolving the surface coat to accrue adhesiveness. Reasonable amount of strong solvent like DMF should be added. Bake the base coater a little drier before sticking to leather under half-dry condition, better peeling strength can be obtained.

2. Please notice that the yellow resistance of product is affected by the following factors:

A) The coloring (color sand or color liquid);

B) Whether the curing agent is of yellow resistance series;

C) The leather and the applied filler

Therefore, to obtain good yellow resistance result, cooperating factors must be considered besides the product.

3. Performance test: Coat this product only onto transparent and clear glass plate to test its yellow resistance. Test with Taiwan Goatee yellow resistance testing machine, shine under two 15w ultraviolet lamps at a distance of 20mm for 3 hours to get a result equals to or more than 4. 5 degrees.

4. This product belongs to aliphatic resin; The yield-proof property and mechanical strength are not as good as those of aromatics resin of the same modulus. Yield-proof property is related to the performance of coating thickness, base coater and the leather itself. Please confirm carefully about the yield-proof property and tensile strength of the product.

5. Better peeling strength will be available if more curing agent is added to the base leather:

A) DU-2031: NT75=100: 18

B) DU-2038: NT75=100: 20

6. Coating thickness: 0. 25~0. 35mm; Coating thickness can affect the yield-proof property of the product to certain extent. When coating thickness is appropriate, yield-proof test result in our lab has reached 80, 000times/-20 degrees centigrate

Packing and transporting:

Packed in metal bucket; Net weight: 180kg/bucket. This product is flammable and exposable. They should be sealed stored in dry and cool places with good ventilation. Stay away from long-term sun exposure. Keep them from crash during transportation.
